Anniversary Star Map

A star map is a precise snapshot of the night sky from a specific date, time, and location on Earth. Each map shows the stars and their exact positions at an exact moment, calculated using real astronomical data rather than generic constellations or symbolic layouts.

At Picture the Stars, every star map is generated individually using your chosen details, then refined into a clean, beautiful modern design. This allows you to capture a meaningful moment, such as the night you met, got engaged, or were married, exactly as the sky appeared.

You can calculate star maps for dates in the past or future and preview your design live before ordering.

Which date should I choose for my anniversary star map?
Most people choose their wedding day, the night they met, or another meaningful moment in their relationship. There's no right or wrong choice, the best date is the one that holds the most meaning for you both such as "The Night We Met", "The Night We First Kissed" or "The Night We Married".

Do I need the exact time?
No. If no time is selected we will default this to midnight. Every star map requires a time to be calculated regardless of choice. If you select a time, you can choose to have it printed alongside the date, or show just the date. It's completely optional.

What should I write on my Anniversary Star Map?
Popular choices include names or a short message such as "The night our story began" or "Forever starts here." Adding a personal message is optional.
